Luka Modric Going to Inter Milan Leaving Real Madrid but How?

Florentino Perez doesn’t want Luka to go so he has refused to meet the Madrid midfielder and discuss anything about his move to Italy.

Inter Milan still interested to sign Modric before the Italian transfer window closes. On the other side, Modric is keen on joining the Inter and to talk about his away move with the president.

As three times Champions League-winning manager Zinedine Zidane and superstar  Cristiano Ronaldo had already left the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, Perez strongly refuses to allow another high-profile departure from Madrid.

Madrid is trying new tactics with Modric and offering him a new contract with a huge amount equivalent to the club captain Sergio Ramos.

Calcio Mercato claims that Perez has a  plan to keep Modric in place.  Italian transfer window so close to its end on next Friday 17 August, Perez believes that he can simply wait by refusing to talk to Modric, force him to stay in Spain.

Modric’s entourage is still in Madrid at the moment, trying to push for a move away from the European champions.

 Coming Monday could provide some answers about where Modric’s future will lie, as Real Madrid will be in Tallin to play against rival Atletico Madrid as a fixture if UEFA Super Cup.

If Modric is among the traveling squad, that will indicate that a move to Inter is not happening.

Modric’s value has increased by his outclass performances at the World Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as Croatia reached their first ever final in the history of FIFA Football World Cup.
