Paul Pogba is intent on a move to Barcelona this summer, according to reports.
Reports suggest the Manchester midfielder has expressed a desire to leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks even if he is able to repair his relationship with Mourinho.
United is not interested in selling the World Cup champion this summer, however, the report indicates that Pogba has is interested in a move to Spain.
The report suggests Pogba’s heart is to play at the Nou Camp is the main reason why he wants to leave United this summer, and his relationship with Mourinho is now only a small issue.
But The Sun says Manchester United are playing hardball and remain adamant that Pogba, who returned to United two years ago for a then-world record £89m, will not be sold.
As well as his impact on the pitch, chief executive Ed Woodward knows the Frenchman’s status as one of the world’s most marketable stars has only grown since he won the World Cup last month.
However, former United center forward and talkSPORT pundit Alan Brazil has urged his old club to get rid of the “arrogant” midfielder.
Brazil said: “I’m not happy with Pogba, I think he’s arrogant, he’s aloof.
“The way he struts about, if he was playing eight-out-of-ten every week then I’d say, ‘well he’s got a point’, but he doesn’t.
“I think Jose is right to say, ‘look, you’re annoying the dressing room, you’re annoying me, if you don’t like it, see you later’.
“It’s best to get rid and I think that may strengthen Man United. Pogba this, Pogba that – I’m sick of it, to be honest.”
